EFY in Ephraim!

So this past week I had the opportunity to be an EFY counselor down at Snow College in Ephraim, UT. For those of you who may not know what EFY is, it stands for "Especially for Youth" and is a week long camp for youth in the LDS church. It involves classes, devotionals, games, dances, pizza night, etc. I went for three years as a participant and loved it. This was my first week as a counselor and it was absolutely incredible! It seriously could not have gone any better. I had awesome co-counselors, and I had AMAZING youth I got to work with. Best. Job. Ever. :)
I was a counselor over 10 girls between the ages of 16 and 17, and then three counselor groups (two girl groups and one boy group) form a "company" of about 30 youth. All 30 of our kids were soo awesome...we really lucked out! They were all so caring and fun, and served/loved each other SO much! It was incredible to watch, and definitely inspired me to be a better person! We all had a TON of fun, but also had incredible spiritual experiences throughout the week. My testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ was strengthened, as well as my appreciation for it.
I'll have at least one (hopefully more!) week as an EFY counselor in other locations throughout the rest of the summer, so I'll keep you posted on how those go as well, but for now...enjoy a few pictures from this past week! :)

Neicca, Ryan and I - This co-counselorship was divinely inspired :) We had an AWESOME week!

Our company, "The One and Only" - love you guys!

Classic jumping picture. Rizzie (in the front) is my hero!

The boys (a.k.a. studs) of our group! They devoured their pizza on pizza night, then wrote all their numbers on pizza boxes to drop off at our girls apartments. They're the greatest! haha

Me with my girls :) They were all wonderful!

 My girls again :)

Me and Spencer :) He's a 14 year old kid that got put in our age group somehow, but he was way cool! We took this picture cuz he was pretty proud to have a 20 year old hanging on his arm. ;) What can I say, maybe I have a thing for younger men! :) haha okay maybe not, but Spencer really was awesome!
